Welcome to the Enterprise Bargaining Hub, your central source of information and updates as we work towards our next Enterprise Agreement.
Enterprise Bargaining is the process where the University, our staff, and their nominated bargaining representatives, including the National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) and the Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU), come together to negotiate the terms and conditions that will form our next Enterprise Agreement.
As we move through this process, we are committed to keeping you informed, up to date and connected to key information as bargaining progresses.
Enterprise Bargaining is the formal mechanism by which the University, our staff, and their nominated bargaining representatives, including the National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) and the Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU), come together to negotiate the terms and conditions that will form our next Enterprise Agreement. The process of Enterprise Bargaining is informed by the requirements of the Fair Work Act, which prescribes specific obligations on all parties negotiating a new Agreement. Our current Flinders University Enterprise Agreement 2023–2026 will remain in place while bargaining is underway and until a new Agreement is approved.
All staff covered by the Agreement will be asked to vote on a new proposed Enterprise Agreement when negotiations are concluded. A new agreement will require majority support from those who vote before it can be submitted to the Fair Work Commission for approval.
The Bargaining team is made up of representatives from the University, the unions, and any nominated independent Bargaining representatives. To learn who the nominated representatives are, click on the tiles below.
