The Educational Quality Team provides support for the structural development and approval of new and amended curriculum, including courses, specialisation, majors, minors and topics. The team also provides support for the preparation of submissions for internal accreditation of courses (Course Reviews).
Members of the team can provide advice about curriculum alignment with regulatory frameworks such as the Higher Education Standards and the Australian Qualifications Framework. The team also supports the interpretation and application of Flinders’ policies and procedures aligned with curriculum approval, and quality assurance and improvement.
Members of the Educational Quality Team contribute to the planning and coordination of key activities aligned with teaching quality, such as Learning and Teaching Week, Vice Chancellor’s and National Teaching Awards, and professional development for academic staff.
