As part of Flinders University’s commitment to creating an integrated clinical education ecosystem, the College of Health and Enablement is establishing a Core Clinical Education Workforce commencing in 2027. The initiative brings together simulation-based learning, student-led services and authentic clinical practice, creating a sustainable and innovative workforce model that supports high-quality student learning, workforce development and community impact. The model includes dedicated Clinical Educator positions across Adult, Children and Families, and Ageing and Restorative Care streams, with structured career pathways and opportunities for professional growth.
We are now inviting expressions of interest from all College of Health and Enablement casual, fixed-term and continuing staff who may be interested in ongoing Teaching Specialist (Clinical/Practitioner) Clinical Educator positions at Level A, Level B or Level C. These roles will contribute to clinical supervision, simulation-based education, student-led services, teaching and workforce development activities as part of this new interprofessional workforce.
